A 2-day training was held at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) where representative from all partner’s universities (Morocco, Lebanon, Jordan) and the Ministries of Higher Education attended.
The objective of this meeting was to give the representatives of the International Relations Office a good understanding of the importance of virtual internationalisation and the available tools. CUAS first presented two show-cases for the use of e-learning for internationalisation of Higher Education through the example of a TEMPUS project as well as a Summer School in a blended learning way; in addition an example of internationalisation for use in engineering courses with online experimentation in the Maghreb was presented. Then, the participants were introduced to the Moodle platform and were given the opportunity on the second day to concretely work on it under the supervision of Prof. Marvin Hoffland, CUAS’s Senior Lecturer. This exercise allowed them for a better understanding of the importance of these tools.
